Changint the Old Standard to the New One

		Since the UPF's standard ISO 9002:1994 would be valid until October 2001, the Company 
	is committed to improving its higher-level quality standard by implementing the Quality Standard 
	System ISO 9001:2000 which the Company had planned and started operating since March 2001. 
	After been audited by the specialist auditors of BVQI on 22-23 November 2001, the Company 
	was awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Certification on 7 December 2001.

	Reasons for Changing to the New Standard
		1. To easier understand on the structure of process (PDCA).
		2. To conform to the law and decrease the impaact on environment.
		3. To develop continuously for increasing competitive ability, satisfying efficiently to 
		     market shares, and creating the operating results on effective and effciency.
		4. To increase the conformity to ISO 14000.
